Ingredients (for 1 serving):
1 Black pudding (necessarily from MARKO Delicatessen)
about 3-4 tablespoons of sauerkraut
1/4 onion – sliced in feathers
1/2 teaspoon of lard or butter
fresh thyme or marjoram (optional)
pepper, possibly cumin
aluminum foil
Preparation:
Preheat the grill / bonfire / oven to 180°C
On a piece of aluminum foil, arrange:
a layer of sauerkraut (slightly drained)
onion slices
a small teaspoon of lard or butter
spices as desired
On top, put the black pudding – whole or cut into 2-3 pieces
Wrap the whole thing tightly in foil – like a “bonfire potato”
Bake:
on the grill or bonfire – about 20-25 minutes
in the oven – about 30 minutes.
How to serve.
Straight from the foil or with bread and pickled cucumber
It also tastes great with French mustard or onion jam
And for the best black pudding? It is known – to MARKO delicatessen! A taste of tradition that does not disappoint
